After seeing a small part of Washington D.C. the past two days its back to baseball tonight. The Nationals are home taking on the Brewers from Milwaukee. Game time 7:05 p.m.
I’d like to think I saw a lot of D.C., but the truth is there is so much to see. A brief summary, The White house and The Pentagon were smaller than I thought they would be. The U.S. Capitol is pretty much what I had figured. The Lincoln Memorial and The Washington Memorial were spot on. The Watergate Buildings and The Jefferson Memorial just happen to be there when we were driving by and the UBER driver pointed them out. Sometimes life works out that way. The Supreme Court Building is intimidating looking. My guess is, that’s what was intended.
Tomorrow maybe I’ll keep going south. Right now I’m heading to the game.
