A somewhat early start out of Cleveland yesterday. I knew if I was going to get to Philadelphia for the game last night I would have to travel 455 miles to check in to my hotel and get to the game on time. As it turned out there was a slight rain delay.(The game started at 7:30 pm.) I got there just after it started and picked up a cheap ticket. When teams are struggling in the win column(Philadelphia is 33-62) the worst record in M.L.B. It usually reflects in the attendance. That was very apparent last night. No matter though. I was looking forward to seeing the game and the ball park.
Today its off to Washington D.C. Tuesday night The Washington Nationals are hosting The Milwaukee Brewers. This trip is so much about positive momentum moving forward for me. I have no clue where I’ll be after that. I’ll just keep going. The unknown is something that can be uncomfortable some for people. On this day at this moment I seem to be O.K. with it. Heading for wild blue yonder’s and amber waves of grain. A need to see the ocean is never far from my mind either.

Just saw you driving on I95 near the Pennsylvania / Delaware Border. I saw the website on your car and decided to look it up. I noticed it because I saw a Montana license plate and pointed it out to my boyfriend who was driving. Funny thing was as we were getting off our exit I said “Goodbye Montana Man” and my boyfriend said “You are never gonna see that guy again!” That is why I went to your site! Have a fun trip. Be safe! Hope you meet a lot of nice people! Tara and Jeff from Upland, PA
Hi John!
The family and I just passed you driving down 95 on our way from New Jersey to West Virginia. I HAD to check out what “the ultimate year” was after I read the link on your car. My husband is a tad jealous of your ultimate goal. 😉
We wish you well in accomplishing everything and know you’ll definitely have the “ultimate year”!! Enjoy.
Keep us posted God be with you Pat and Margie Kelly
Thanks guys. I don’t know how much farther. For now I’ll just keep driving.
Hi. My name is Bill. I am the guy that gave you my extra tickets. I hope that you got a great seat. You definitely got to see a great game, and I hope that you stayed for the fireworks. They were almost as good as the game. Have safe travels and enjoy yourself on your journey. It was nice meeting you.
